Niagara Falls Beaded Shoe Pincushion 1932 Iroquois CuteThis is a very sweet pincushion souvenir from niagara falls. The native american artist who designed it certainly made good use of the space provided! The dark blue front of the shoe design boasts a stylized bird on a pine branch, a beautiful flower and a leaf. It also says niagara falls 1932 spelled out in beads. The perimeter is bordered in beads and there is a hanging handle and some decorative loops. tI is backed in a very pretty, albeit well loved, woven peach damask pattern. It even came with an old fashioned black srtaight pin which looks more like a nail. Its dimensions are 5 across by 4 high. I would love for this very pretty piece of social, travel and american history to find na appreciative, new home. Hpapy bidding! |
