Plains Quilled Horn Spoon Circa 1880Plains honr spoon with quillwork circa 1880 8.75 long and 3.25 wide. Teh plaited quillwork section is 3 long and almost 1 wide the quill wrapped drops are 6 long. Horn is possibly mountain sheep but is most likely cow.
The plaited quillwork is ni pretty good condition with some loss and fading and the horn has a nice polish to it. The quillwork on the drops is mostly there with very little fading and there is a thong that is also quillwrapped and about 40% of it's quillwork missing. I am including a custom made stand that a friend of mine who works with metal made for me. Guaranteed as described.
