Up for bid is an wonderful. ~ native american indian ~. Iroquois (seneca) beaded woman's purse/bag. ~ c. 1870-80 ~. Please save me as a favorite seller as i will be listing an amazing collection of authentic native ameircan indian & inuit/eskimo artifacts (over 30 items! ) for a friend over the next few weeks. All with very lwo or no reserve! Aprpoximate measurements.

Bag is 6 long ~ 5 wide (at center). Features.

~ amazing traditional floral beadwork on front & back w/blues, greens, reds, pinks, yellows, oranges, golds, white & clear beads. ~beautiful picot edgework (some bead loss on egding ni 4-5 spots, see photo #3). ~ unusually large amount of blue beadwork for this type of bag. ~ all originla trade materials.

~ double beaded top flaps (a little loose on one edge, back side, see photo #2). ~ clear beaded edging (see photo #4).

~ blue polished cotton lining and tpo trim (slightly unstitched front side, see photo #1). ~ good conidtion overall for age! ~ lovely native american indian beaded iroquois purse/bag to add to your collection!
