Victorian Beaded Iroquois Boot Shoe Whimsey Pin CushionUp for auction from our own collection is a vintage iroquois beaded boot or shoe whimsey. This was purchased over 35 years ago at an auction on the wisconsin minnesota border. It is an unbelievable example of the iroquois shoes, measuring almost 7 in length, 5 in width and 2 1/2 thick. The beaded flowers and foliage protrdue from the shoe almost an inch in places, giving the shoe an extra dimension. The beading is also in exceptionally nice shape, with no loss of beads that i can find i took a picture of the shoe both without flash the first picture, and with flash the last picture, so the color of the beads could be more correctly seen.
